Jodi Shelton is the co-founder of GSA, serving as executive director since its inception in July 1994. A pioneer within the technology space, Shelton was instrumental in the creation of the Alliance and has continuously addressed global issues in the industry as the voice of its members. Under her leadership, GSA has grown its membership to include companies throughout the supply chain representing 25 countries across the globe. In her role as executive director, Shelton oversees GSA daily operations, ensuring that the Alliance remains focused on achieving its defined mission and goal to foster a more effective ecosystem through collaboration, integration and innovation. She is as the key liaison between GSA and the business community at high-level financial and industry conferences, providing insight on key topics pertaining to the global fabless supply chain. Shelton earned her bachelor's degree in political science from San Diego State University and her master's degree in political science from the University of Houston. As chief executive, researcher, design architect, and entrepreneur, Dr. Nicky Lu has dedicated his career to the worldwide IC design and semiconductor industry. He is the Founder and CEO of Etron since 1991, and co-founded several other high-tech companies, which are now public. Dr. Lu received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and M.S. and Ph.D. in EE from Stanford University. He worked for the IBM and won numerous IBM recognition awards, including an IBM Corporate Award. He holds over 24 U.S. patents and has published more than 50 technical papers. Dr. Lu was elected to be a Fellow of IEEE, awarded the IEEE Solid State Circuits Field Award, and honored with the membership of National Academy of Engineering of the United States. Dr. Lu also serves as Managing Board Director of the Taiwan Semiconductor Industry Association (TSIA), and the Board Director and Asia-Pacific Leadership Council Chairman of the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA). Mr. Bell is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Intersil Corporation. Prior to this role, Mr. Bell had served as Intersil's President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Bell joined Intersil in April of 2007 after spending 12 years with Linear Technology Corporation (“LTC”), most recently, from June 2003 to January 2007, as its President. Prior to becoming President of LTC, from January 2002 to June 2003, Mr. Bell served as LTC's Vice President and General Manager of Power Products and, from February 1999 to January 2002, as LTC's General Manager of Power Products. From June 1994 to January 1999, he held the position of LTC's Manager of Strategic Product Development. Jordan Wu is the president and chief executive officer of Himax Technologies, Inc. Prior to the reorganization of Himax in October 2005, Mr. Wu served as the chairman of the board of directors of Himax Taiwan, a position that he held since April 2003. Mr. Wu is also the chairman of the board of directors of Wisepal, Himax Imaging, Himax Media Solutions, and Integrated Microdisplays and a director of Himax Taiwan, Himax Display, Himax Analogic, Himax Technologies (Samoa), Inc., Himax Anyang, Himax Technologies (Shenzhen) Co. Inc., Himax Technologies (Suzhou) Co., Inc., and Himax Imaging. Prior to joining Himax Taiwan, Mr. Wu served as chief executive officer of TV Plus Technologies, Inc. and chief financial officer and executive director of DVN Holdings Ltd. in Hong Kong. Dr. Walden C. Rhines serves as chief executive officer and chairman of the Board of Directors for Mentor Graphics. Prior to joining Mentor Graphics, Dr. Rhines was Executive Vice President of Texas Instruments' Semiconductor Group, sharing responsibility for TI's Components Sector, and having direct responsibility for the entire semiconductor business. Dr. Rhines served as chairman of the Semiconductor Technical Advisory Committee of the Department of Commerce, as an executive committee member of the board of directors of the Corporation for Open Systems and as a board member of the Computer and Business Equipment Manufacturers' Association (CBEMA), SEMI-Sematech/SISA, Electronic Design Automation Consortium (EDAC), University of Michigan National Advisory Council and Sematech. He served three two-year terms as Chairman of the Electronic Design Automation Consortium and is currently Vice-Chairman. He is also currently a Board member of the Semiconductor Research Corporation, the Portland Classic Wine Auction and Lewis and Clark College. Mr Lee Joon Chung, Group President and Chief Executive Officer, joined UTAC in February 2001. Mr Lee is a director of Semiconductor Manufacturing International (AT) Corporation and Nepes Pte. Ltd. He was a co-founder and President of ST Assembly Test Services Ltd (STATS), now known as STATSChipPAC Ltd., which he led to its simultaneous public listings on the Nasdaq and the Singapore Stock Exchange. He has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor engineering and manufacturing industries, including positions with Texas Instruments Incorporated, Fairchild Semiconductor, National Semiconductor Corporation, Microchip Technology Inc., Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd, and STATS. Mr Lee received his bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in Canada. |
